Austin, TX Zoo

Hello All,

I took the kids to the Austin Zoo/ Animal sanctuary today. It wasnt the best place to go but hey you live and learn I am not saying I wont ever go there again but next time I will bring the stroller for Peter. I had him on his leash(ha ha) and he was also cranky for some reason and he was before we left and I should have known not to go but I needed to get out of the house. So I packed up some lunch and off we went, so i took about 45 minutes to get there cause it is located in the hill country part of Austin. So we got there and sat down to eat lunch and there weere peacocks and chickens, roosters walking around and Heather was scared then out came the bees and then my landlord called (we are having issues with our A/C) so trying to talk to our landlord and trying to calm the kids FORGET IT!!! So when I got off the phone we got up and started walking around. Heather being afraid of the bees kept running away from me and Peter wanting to go his own way after 15 mins I was ready to go home. The Zoo has rescued the animals for some reason or other and all the pathways are dirt and rock so since it is soo dry it was dusty so we were all sweaty and dirty by the time we got out of there and hungry since we didnt finish our lunch so we got to the car and I gave the kids ther sandwiches and we went home and they are super hyper for some reason and I am ready for a nap. But I guess we had a good time besides Heather running away and Peter going the opposite and having a fit. Hope all is well with everyone talk to you all soon The Spada's
