We went to the BATFEST today, its a fest to support the bats I guess, or as I figure just another way to close down more streets and to drink ha ha. It was very disappointing we went in late afternoon it was VERY HOT and we walked around and listened to some bands then we left and went to a really good resturant for dinner (Threadgills)I had the best fried oysters mmm I wish I had my leftovers right now but we couldnt take them cause we wanted to go watch the colony of bats fly out from the Congress st bridge
The buggers never flew out we were waiting for 2 hours and decided to go home at 9 pm But all in all I guess it was just nice to get out of the house I was very disappointed I didnt get to see the bats so hopefully when My brother Mike and sis in law Erin come they will take flight we may even take a boat ride when they come so they better fly. We all are sore from walking all evening and am ready to go to bed. Hope everybody had a good weekend. ~The Spada's
